About Franciacorta:

Franciacorta is a historical region in the Province of Brescia, Lombardy, in northern Italy. This wine country is known for world-famous producers such as Berlucchi, Bellavista, and Ca’ del Bosco, and Italian sparkling wines. Franciacorta became the first DOC to specify that its sparkling wines must be made by metodo classico. While different, it could also be known as known as Champagne’s Italian sister.
