Tisa Batchelder is a singer-songwriter whose alt-folk creations are deep, captivating works that surprise and enchant with their unique turns of phrase, subtle vocal nuances, and a blend of traditional and non-traditional instrumentation.

WFMT Midnight Special host Marilyn Rea Beyer describes Tisa’s songs as “exceptional art,” while Sue Demel of the alt-folk trio Sons of The Never Wrong says, “It’s like Judy Chicago, Laurie Anderson, and Shawn Colvin had a baby.”

Tisa, who plays guitar, keys, and baritone uke, will be joined by the inventive and sensitive Gregg Ostrom on bass.

There is no cover for this performance, but tips are encouraged.
