Date and Time:
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
It’s time for the second edition of Picnic Wine 101! Rose and I had such a wonderful time at the last class discussing the four components of wine. You had great questions and such an enthusiasm to learn. Thank you to all who were there!
This next class will take place on June 17th at 6 pm and we will be breaking down, “How to taste wine and talk about it.” We will be expanding from the previous class, but don’t worry if you weren’t there. We will catch you up to speed.
Have you ever been asked what a certain wine smells like and replied, “It smells like wine”? Although a valid answer, we will give you tools in this class to pick out aromas and flavors in wine! Not only that, we will explore why certain aromas are present in wine. Is it from the oak ageing? Is it from the ripeness of the grape? We will discuss all of these things!
To accompany this class, we will be selling class kits ($27) that include:
3 oz pour of Iconic Sidekick Cabernet
3 oz pour of Copain Rose of Pinot Noir
3 oz pour of Naia Verdejo
a wine tasting cheat sheet
You can purchase a kit on our online store
or by calling the store. Please note that you will be purchasing the kit for pre order, and you can pick up or arrange to have your kit delivered on 6/17. We want to be sure the wine is fresh and delicious for you! If you are unable to pick up/ have your kit delivered on that date please call us and we can work something out.
