Discover the power of your voice and creativity at our vibrant community-building event!

Voting is one of our most fundamental rights, and in preparation for the 2024 election, we invite you to join us in exploring the ins and outs of casting your ballot. This is your chance to ensure your voice is heard and your values are represented. Our diverse community is the cornerstone of our strength, and every perspective must be included in shaping our future. Together, we can build a democracy that truly represents every voice.

In addition to learning about voting, unleash your creativity with local artist and activist Lisa Jean Allswede! Dive into a collaborative art project where you can bring beautifully hand-drawn “Vote 2024” postcards to life. With all the materials provided, you’ll have the chance to color and personalize these unique pieces. Once you’ve added your artistic touch, you can choose to have Lisa Jean herself enhance your postcard with intricate sewing machine details, turning it into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Feeling inspired to create your own design? We’ve got you covered! Blank cards will be available for every creative voice.

At the end of the event, you’ll get to take your artwork home as a keepsake and a reminder of the power of your vote. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference, connect with others passionate about making our community stronger and more inclusive, and be part of a vibrant, artistic celebration of democracy!

To offset the materials fees, we are asking for $20 per postcard to participate in this project. A portion of the funds will go to VoteRiders. Learn more about this non-partisan, nonprofit organization HERE.
