Picnic After Dark: Neil Dixon Smith

Join us for Picnic After Dark with Chicago-based solo guitarist Neil Dixon Smith.

Neil performs a unique repertoire of old-school popular, classical, and folkloric guitar music from across Latin America, learned through a decade-long apprenticeship with Chilean guitar master Alfonso Chacón. His music draws from Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, and Puerto Rico, moving from rootsy and tropical to elegant and romantic.

Come enjoy an intimate evening of Latin American solo guitar, wine, cocktails, snacks, and community.
