A Trip, A Solar Eclipse, and A Deeper Purpose

“Do not lose heart. We were made for these times.”

There’s a lot going on in the world right now. Some days it feels like we’re spinning faster than we can keep up—with uncertainty, chaos, and division flooding our feeds and our hearts. And yet… amidst the overwhelm, beauty still exists. Joy still matters. And purpose still calls.

Later this week, I leave for Spain. It’s part work, part dream. I’ll be visiting two incredible wine regions—Ribera del Duero and Penedès—as I plan our next Picnic Wine Adventure for August 2026. The 2026 trip will coincide with a full solar eclipse, and I can’t help but feel the symbolism. Darkness will pass in front of the light—and then the light will return.

The same thing happens in our lives. Storms roll in, but eventually they clear. The question isn’t whether chaos will come (it will), but rather: how do we stay grounded and purposeful through it?

For me, the answer is simple—but not always easy. We slow down. We breathe. We reconnect to our intuition and ask ourselves: What really matters right now? And we take one step at a time in that direction.

We can’t fight every battle or fix every broken system. But we can choose one or two causes that truly resonate, and we can pour our energy there. For me, as a woman and a business owner, that means continuing to speak up for women’s rights—especially now, when progress is at risk and so many have forgotten what it took to get here. It’s not the only thing I care about, but it’s the one I’m choosing to invest in for the moment. That’s my way of staying rooted and hopeful. What’s yours?

As we step into spring—a season of renewal and growth—I invite you to pause and reflect:

🌱 What’s blooming in your life right now?
🌱 What’s calling for your attention?
🌱 And how might you take one inspired step toward what matters most?

If this message resonates with you, I hope you’ll stay connected. Our next wine adventure is taking shape, and I’d love for you to join us—whether it’s across the globe or just around the corner. Because no matter what’s happening in the world, there is always beauty to be found, joy to be shared, and connection to be cultivated.

With love and purpose,
Liz
